INTERLINK GROUP, founded in 1977 in San Juan, Puerto Rico, is the leading resort, hotel and residential developer in the Caribbean. The Company strives to create world-class developments and destinations that exceed the most demanding expectations. Interlink originated as a firm dedicated to construction and project management in the hospitality industry, and consulting of U.S. financial institutions involved in the real estate market in Puerto Rico. Interlink’s first years included workouts for institutions such as Chase Manhattan, Citibank, First Pennsylvania Bank, Wachovia Bank, and Chemical Bank, among others. In addition, Interlink undertook the challenging missions of managing hotel renovations in the Island’s tourism renaissance of the 80’s and 90’s, such as the CONDADO PLAZA HOTEL (NOW CONRAD), EL SAN JUAN HOTEL (WALDORF ASTORIA COLLECTION), SANDS HOTEL (NOW AN INTERCONTINENTAL ) and the HOTEL EL CONVENTO in Old San Juan, a member of Small Luxury Hotels.
Signature projects include LAS CASITAS VILLAGE at El Conquistador Resort, The Waldorf Astoria Collection®, the first AAA Five Diamond hotel in Puerto Rico; CENTRO EUROPA, an award-winning urban renewal, mixed-use complex in Santurce; more recently, the SHERATON PUERTO RICO HOTEL & CASINO, the first US Green Building Council “New Construction” LEED certified hotel in the Caribbean and BAHIA BEACH RESORT & GOLF CLUB, a master-planned residential and resort community under development on a 483-acre former coconut plantation, hosting luxury resort residences, world-class amenities, as well as the exclusive ST. REGIS ® BAHIA BEACH RESORT.
